Dr. (Maj.) Jitendra Singh, Senior Consultant, ENT Department, Jai Prabha Medanta Hospital, Patna
Dr. (Maj.) Jitendra Kumar Singh is an experienced medical professional who served in the Indian Army for more than a decade and is currently working as a Senior Consultant at Jay Prabha Medanta Super Speciality Hospital, Patna. Apart from being an ENT Surgeon, he is also a passionate social change-maker, committed to using healthcare as a means of creating meaningful and lasting change in the lives of people and communities.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, when access to hospitals and healthcare services became extremely difficult for many people, Dr. Singh felt a strong moral responsibility, as a doctor, to make medical guidance more accessible to those in need. With this vision, he brought together a group of doctors from different specialities and created an **online platform through which people could connect with medical professionals and seek appropriate healthcare guidance. Within a span of just **three months, approximately 2,000 patients received medical guidance through this platform. The overwhelming response highlighted the need for accessible and community-oriented healthcare and laid the foundation for MyPHC.
.
As the Founder of MyPHC, Dr. Singh brings together his years of experience in medicine, public service, and healthcare leadership to build a patient-centric and preventive healthcare ecosystem.
